About Us

We are an association of aware consumers who refuse to pay more for products and services than is absolutely necessary. More than that, we expect value for our money because inferior quality is no bargain.

Our Story

More than a decade ago, Barry Forester and Kevin Faherty got together to discuss ways to allow individuals and small groups to access dental networks and to obtain the same discounts as large groups and insurance companies. Pooling their collective experience in the insurance and benefits arena, they founded Qualident, which quickly became one of the largest independent dental networks in the greater New York-New Jersey area.

Then in 2002, Raymond Marszalowicz, an IT expert, joined the team and these entrepreneurs founded National Benefit Builders, Inc. (NBBI).  Their mission was to provide people who are uninsured or underinsured with the same access and reduced fee healthcare that the big insurance companies and large corporations enjoy. NBBI went on to become a major wholesaler and retailer of all forms of discount health networks.

In 2004, Alexander Acuna, a multi-level marketing specialist, added his talents to this innovative group to help promote their goal of administering the best reduced-fee programs in America. Together they have established the United Consumers Association (UCA), whose motto, “Spend Wisely, Live Well,” epitomizes their philosophy of helping people maximize their financial potential by getting value for their money.

UCA members enjoy superior benefits, including savings on numerous products and services, thanks to the expertise, experience and diligence of this tireless team. And, as always, their adherence to the principles of honesty, fairness and service to the consumer shine through as they continue to provide their hallmark 24/7 customer service to their cardholders.
